The 3.5L EcoBoost® V6, available in the Flex Limited model, combines two technologies – direct injection and turbocharging – to deliver the performance of a V8 and the fuel economy of a V6.* It generates 365 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque across a wide 1,500-5,000 rpm range.** The EcoBoost V6 engine, available on Flex Limited is teamed with the traction and handling of Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.

The available voice-activated Navigation System with Traffic and Travel Link* provides turn-by-turn directions and as well as a choice of route – fastest, shortest or EcoRoute. In EcoRoute mode, the Navigation System instantly calculates the most fuel-efficient route to your destination. Navigation features a full-color 3-D bird’s-eye view, provides points of interest and the last destinations entered in the system. The standard 3.5L Ti-VCT V6 in 2013 Flex features upgraded technology to deliver 20 percent more horsepower plus improved fuel economy.* Direct injection helps produce a cooler, denser charge that generates more power per every drop of fuel, and delivers precise amounts of fuel into each cylinder. Twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) controls when the valves open and close to improve overall performance. This advanced V6 is mated to an equally advanced 6-speed SelectShift Automatic® transmission. It features a wide span of gear ratios across the six speeds, providing responsive acceleration at the low end and enhanced fuel economy at the overdrive 6th gear.
