Rear View Camera |

The available Rear View Camera can help you see what’s behind your vehicle and aid you when hooking up a trailer. It provides a video image of the area behind your vehicle on the interior rearview mirror (or on the available navigation screen, if equipped). Activated automatically when you shift Expedition into Reverse, the Rear View Camera can alert you to certain objects behind your vehicle. Using the red, yellow, green and center guidelines on the display, you can align your vehicle with a trailer hitch behind your vehicle. The Rear View Camera is standard on Limited and King Ranch®; optional on XLT.

MyKey® |

MyKey® is an innovative system that can help your young son or daughter drive more responsibly. Important safety features, such as the Belt-Minder® warning chime, stay activated until the front safety belts are buckled. Also, the audio system volume remains muted. MyKey can be set to place limits on speed (to 80 miles per hour) and audio volume (to 45 percent of maximum). The low fuel light comes on sooner (75 miles to empty instead of 50). The few minutes it takes to program a MyKey ignition key through the vehicle's message center will help bring you hours of additional peace of mind.

Available Ford SYNC® does a lot for you in a single voice-activated connectivity system.* Communications: Connect your Bluetooth®-enabled phone and make calls, browse your phone book, see your call log and more. With the new AppLink™ feature you can access mobile apps on select smartphone brands via voice control. Entertainment: Plug in your compatible MP3 player or USB drive. Browse your MP3 player by genre, album, artist, song or playlist; or listen to audio books and podcasts - all with simple voice commands. SYNC even charges your MP3 player. Traffic & Directions: Get turn-by-turn directions, business search listings, traffic alerts, personalized news, sports, weather, horoscopes, stocks, movies, and Send to SYNC from Google Maps™ or MapQuest®. Driver Assistance: Connect to a 911 operator through your paired mobile phone after an accident in which an airbag deploys with 911 Assist. Also, get a personalized Vehicle Health Report that shows you vehicle diagnostics, scheduled maintenance information and recall information, and conveniently schedule service online.

The power outside mirrors are now equipped with an integrated blind spot mirror in the top outer corner. When traffic enters the blind spot on either side of the vehicle, it becomes visible in the spotter mirror.
