Generally speaking, in business, more is better. The more you can carry per trip, the fewer trips you have to make, which lowers the cost of operating your vehicle. E-Series Vans have been in the business of “more” for the past 50 years. An extended length van, for example, offers up to 278.3 cu. ft. of cargo space. The regular length E-150 with 4.6L V8 gives you a standard maximum payload of 3,190 lbs., and the E-350 can handle up to 4,050 lbs.* Maximum GVWRs range from 8,520 for the standard E-150 to 9,500 lbs. with E-350 models, along with a maximum front GAWR of 4,200 lbs.* No wonder E-Series has been “America’s Van” for more than half a century.

There are two optional Trailer Tow Packages offered with E-Series. The Class I Trailer Tow Package, complete with trailer wiring harness, is included and only available on vans with a chrome or black-painted rear step bumper. The optional Class II/III/IV Trailer Tow Package can tow up to 10,000 lbs. and includes a trailer wiring harness (blade-style female connector) with bumper bracket; relay system for backup/B+/running lights; frame-mounted hitch receiver and electric brake controller tap-in capability. The Integrated Trailer Brake Controller* is an option that can be specified for use with this package. It balances the performance of the van brakes and electric trailer brakes. You may also equip your van with the optional rear view camera to assist you in hitching up your trailer.

The available integrated Trailer Brake Controller (TBC) works in conjunction with the Anti-Lock Brake System and synchronizes the vehicle and trailer brakes for seamless braking while towing even the heaviest of loads.* It's factory-installed, so there are no extra holes in the dash, no clumsy boxes at your knees, and no aftermarket worries. TBC requires Heavy-Duty (classes II, III and IV) Trailer Tow Package and requires the available Instrument Panel Message Center.

Get a clear picture of what’s behind you with the available rear view camera. The camera (mounted in the rear license plate bracket) transmits the image to the auto-dimming rearview mirror or to the center console display that's part of the optional Premium Combination Audio/Navigation System. It operates only when the gear shift selector is in reverse.

Standard manual Telescopic Trailer Tow Mirrors have manual-adjustable flat glass and manual convex spotter. Power-adjustable flat glass is available with the optional Power Group.

Using innovative ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper, the optional Reverse Sensing System audibly alerts you to certain objects located directly behind the vehicle when you’re backing up at slow speeds.
