Every E-Series engine features a silent-design cam drive for smooth, quiet operation, plus a fail-safe cooling system and a 97,500-mile scheduled tune-up interval.* The 4.6L EFI Triton® V8 engine, standard in E-250 Super Duty®, has 225 hp and 286 lb.-ft. of torque. In addition, it’s a flex-fuel engine, meaning it's capable of running on E85, unleaded gasoline, or a combination of the two.

The 5.4L EFI Triton® V8 engine's proven SOHC architecture produces 255 hp and 350 lb.-ft. of torque across a wide powerband and features a silent-design cam drive for smooth, quiet operation, plus a fail-safe cooling system and a 97,500-mile scheduled tune-up interval.* And it’s also a flex-fuel engine, meaning it's capable of running on E85, unleaded gasoline, or a combination of the two.** It’s standard with E-350 and E-450.

The 6.8L EFI Triton® V10 is coupled with the TorqShift® 5-speed automatic transmission. The long-lasting, durable and proven TorqShift is designed to handle the performance of engines such as the 6.8L V10, with its best-in-class gas torque.* Ideal for towing heavy loads, TorqShift includes a selectable Tow/Haul Mode that automatically compensates for altitude, grade and load conditions.

The 4.6L EFI Triton® V8 (standard in E-250 Super Duty®) and 5.4L EFI Triton® V8* (standard in E-350/E-450 Super Duty® models) are equipped with flex-fuel (FFV) capability. Both engines can run on unleaded gasoline, E85 (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline) or any mix of the two. So you can fuel up wherever you are, even if E85 isn't immediately available. In addition, both the 5.4L and 6.8L engines are capable of conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquid propane gas (LPG) fuel operation when equipped with the CNG/LPG Gaseous Engine Prep Package,** which includes hardened engine intake valves, exhaust valves and valve seats.

E-Series E-250 Super Duty® Cutaway comes standard with a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It’s an option on select E-350 models.

The long-lasting, durable and proven available TorqShift® 5-speed automatic transmission is designed to handle the performance of the optional 6.8L EFI Triton® V10, with its best-in-class gas torque.* TorqShift is ideal for handling heavier loads, and it features a selectable Tow/Haul Mode that automatically compensates for altitude, grade and load conditions.
