The Personal Safety System™ with its state-of-the-art dual-stage driver and front passenger airbags and front passenger sensing system has long been a Ranger standard safety feature. Ranger also comes equipped with front seat side airbags that provide enhanced head and torso protection in certain side impacts. The side airbags are designed to protect the head, minimizing lateral head injuries in the event of a collision, in addition to acting as a barrier between the occupant and the side of the vehicle.

Standard equipment on all Ranger pickups is an Anti-Lock Braking System, which delivers smooth, straight stops and helps you maintain control while braking under a variety of driving conditions.

It's important to check your tire pressure regularly to keep all four inflated within the manufacturer's specified pressure range. Tire pressure affects ride comfort, safety and fuel economy. That’s why all Ranger models come equipped with a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which automatically alerts you when a tire is low.
